The UFC Heavyweight Champion will defend his title sometime in the summer against the winner of the match between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin. Most people would like to see the rubber rematch between Lesnar and a revamped Mir, while others would like to see a wrestler vs. wrestler themed match in Lesnar vs. Carwin.
The mystery illness, apparently, was diverticulitis. Lesnar beat it with antibiotics, and his own body's healing process. He lost 30 lbs., then gained it back after the healing began. He missed some training, but is back at it now. He was seen by the best specialists in the Mayo Clinic, so his diagnosis isn't some hack guess. He's genuinely IS back.
